Graveside services were held at Fakes Cemetery with Rev. Charlotte Staggs officiating. Thompson-Wilson Funeral Directors of McCrory were in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bishop was born in McCrory on June 26, 1912 to Millie and Malvern Raymond.
She was married to Mr. Joseph Arthur Bishop who preceded her in death in 1952.
Mrs. Bishop was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and would help anyone in need. Besides being a homemaker, she was a Sales Clerk for Werner Department Store. She moved to Missouri after the death of her husband where she remained until her death on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
Mrs. Aline outlived all of her siblings.
Survivors include one son, Gary E. Bishop of St. Peters, MO., two daughters: Nina June McAuley of High Ridge, MO., Donna Sue Sims of Arnold, MO. 16 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Wally and Roy Sims, Rickey McCauley, Kenny Wilkerson, Walter Rushing and Gary Bishop.
