Etta Bishop lost her life in a terrible train disaster 7 Aug 1904.

The Missouri Pacific train #11, crossed a bridge that had been washed out by a flash flood. The engine, baggage car and three coaches went into the water taking the lives of over 100 people.

Her brother Jonathon F. Bishop and cousin Carrie Bishop also perished.
