Clara was born April 5, 1931 in Swain County North Carolina the daughter of the late William McKinley Mashburn and Bobbie Baker Mashburn
Left to cherish her memory are her brother-in-law Russell Birdsong and wife Danya of Halifax, NC; Her sister-in-law Margaret Riddle and her husband Dixon of Weldon, NC and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 in the chapel of Massey Funeral Home in Roanoke Rapids at 2:00PM with Pastor Stan Lewis officiating. Burial will be held private in Halifax Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM.
