Visitation: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Martin's Funeral Home in Granbury with family receiving friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday.J.D. Bird was born January 25, 1914, in Hood County and was a lifelong resident. He was a foreman at the Black Ranch in Hood County.He was preceded in death by his son, Donald Bird. Survivors: Wife, Patricia Bird; son, Jerry Bird; daughters, Deborah Caywood, Brenda Massingill; brothers, Virgil Bird, Willard E. Bird; sisters, Artie M.
