Married 9/3/1949Mr. Gene Billington, age 89, of Sterling Heights, Michigan, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton, Michigan.

Mr. Billington was born in Akron, Ohio on November 30, 1928 to the late Jimmie Billington and Lucille Smith Billington. He was a tool and die maker and an Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Garvis Paschall.

Mr. Billington is survived by his wife, Val Billington; two sons, Rick Billington and wife Carol and Jim Billington and wife Sheila; two sisters, Helen Paschall and Rose Walker and husband Gerald; two grandchildren, Brian Billington and Carrie Saarela; as well as two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m., May 2, 2018 at the Murray City Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Walker will officiate, and burial will follow. No public visitation will be held.
