CORA TROUT BILLINGS
---Mrs. Cora Trout, wife of W.H. Billings, died at her home last Friday morning after an illness of several months.
---Mrs. Billings was born April 5, 1858 and was a native of Macon County.
---Mrs. Billings had been to Rochester, Minnesota for treatments and she seemed to be getting along as well as expected until on Thursday when she took worse and passed away on Friday.
---She leaves to mourn, her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Frank Easley of La Plata; five sisters and two brothers, namely, Mrs. C.A. McHenry, Mrs. George Tompkins, Mrs. Lizzie Thompson of La Plata, Mrs. Robert Vandiver of Edina, Mrs. Robert Tompkins of Oklahoma, the brothers are J.C. Trout of Oklahoma and Charles Trout of Columbia.
---Funeral services were held from the La Plata Baptist Church Sunday at 1:30, conducted by Rev. Duval of Moberly. Interment was made in the La Plata cemetery.
