Franklin - DAVID JOHNSON BILLINGS, 86, passed away June 13, 2007 after a long illness.
He was born in Tipton County, TN. He served 33 months in the U.S. Army during WWII in the North African and European theaters. He lived and worked in Memphis retiring from Schilling Motors in Memphis in 1986. He moved to Franklin, TN in 1992 along with his wife.
He was preceded in death by parents, Noel R. and Mollie Billings; seven brothers; two sisters. He is survived by wife of 65 years, Mrs. Evelyn Hatley Billings; son, Ron (Janice) Billings of Franklin, TN; 13 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, and funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, both at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Dan Cottrell will be officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 16, in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, TN. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Southern Hills Church of Christ.
