Irene A. Beibleheimer, 83, of 3463 Summer Valley Road, New Ringgold, died Dec. 31 in Gnaden Huetten Convalescent Center, Lehighton. She was married to Arthur W. Beibleheimer for 61 years last January.
She and her husband were co-owners and operators of Laurel Lake Campgrounds, New Ringgold, for 32 years before retiring in 1997. A 1938 graduate of Kutztown University, she also taught grades 1-8 in the West Penn and Tamaqua Area school districts, 1938-75.
Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late George A. and Estella C. (Long) Billig.
She was a Protestant.
Survivors: Husband; daughter, Kitty Ann Stival of New Ringgold; sisters, Alice Lauck of Reading, Beulah Frederick of Allentown; three grandchildren; nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by sons, Arthur F. and Ronald.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Robert S. Nester Funeral Home, 2066 West Penn Pike, New Ringgold. Call 7-8:30 p.m. Sunday.
