Doris E. (Billiel) Hall, 89, a resident of Poet's Seat Health Care, formerly of Colrain, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
Doris was born in Colrain on June 1, 1921, the daughter of David and Alice (Trumble) Billiel.
Doris was married to Gerald A. Hall who passed away Nov. 2, 2000.
She was employed Bishop's Apple Orchard as well as Mohawk Orchards as packer and inspector for many years.
Doris was also a wonderful homemaker and loved spending time with her family, whom she adored.
Doris is survived by three sons, Richard A. Hall and his wife Francie, of Charlemont, Gary E. and his wife Gail, of Buckland, Robert J. Hall, of Granby; a daughter, Janet Westbrook, of Chicopee; 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Doris was also predeceased by a son Gerald, a grandson Thomas Ewig, brother Lawrence Billiel, and sister Laura Pike.
