FORT WORTH - Virgie Bigham, a retired waitress, died Monday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 82.

Graveside service was to be at 2 p.m. today in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Mount Olivet Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bigham was born in Baytown and had lived in Fort Worth since 1941. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Ernestine Warren of Fort Worth; two sons, Dale Hightower of Weatherford and Doyle High-tower of Poolville; 14 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
