Charles Biggerstaff, age 64, Benton died at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at the Mt. Oliver Cemetery in McLeansboro. Hobbs-Johnson funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. BIGGERSTAFF was born April 8, 1941 in Carmi a son of Charles and Velva (MEREDITH) BIGGERSTAFF. He married the former Karen HOLT and she survives.

He is survived by his wife, Karen BIGGERSTAFF of Cape Girardeau, MO; daughter, Tammy WOODALL of Cape Girardeau, MO, three sons, Tim BIGGERSTAFF of Zelma, MO; Thomas HOLT of Sikeston, MO; and Clarence Junior BIGGERSTAFF of Cape Girardeau, MO; nine grandchildren; one brother, James YATES of Benton and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frederick SANDERS.
