Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle (1874-1948) was an amatuer boxer, a colonel in the United States Army, and an author. (b. 1874, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA - d. Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA)
Son of Edward Biddle III (1851-?) and Emily Drexel (1850-1883).
Anthony married Cordelia Rundle Bradley and had the following children: Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle II, Major General (1897-1961) who married Mary Lillian Duke (1887-1960); and Cordelia Drexel Biddle who married Angier Buchanan Duke (1884-1923). Cordelia Drexel Biddle was the screenwriter for the movie: "The Happiest Millionaire".
Anthony joined the Marine Corps in 1917 as a captain and worked as a military trainer.
