Mrs. Auguste Beyersdorf, a resident of this community since 1882, died Wednesday evening at her home on the Seedling Mile road east of the city following an extended illness.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zuhlke, the deceased was born in Germany, Nov. 4, 1859, having attained the age of 74 years, nine months and five days. She came to America in 1882 and on Dec. 29, of the same year, was united in marriage to Robert Beyersdorf. For many years, they engaged in farming in the vicinity of Worms. To this union a son, Robert, who resided with the mother, was born. Also surviving to mourn her passing are four brothers, George Zuhlke at Worms, Robert in South Dakota, Ludwig in Grand Island, and Ernest at Hold, Colo.; five sisters, Mrs. Johanna Kruse, Mrs. Hanna Brandt and Mrs. Emilie Rusch, all of this city, Mrs. Eliese Beyersdorf of St. Libory, and Margaretha Kosaboy of Palmer, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Saturday morning at the O'Loughlin-Livingston funeral home. Rev. O. Hausmann, of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, will officiate and burial will be in the Wiegert cemetery.
