At the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Hiner near Doe Hill, on Wednesday morning, Nov. 9th, Mr. Byron A. Beverage was united in marriage to Miss Ella C. Hiner, Rev. H. Wilson, of the Methodist church officiating. Mr. Beverage is an industrious young farmer, a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Beverage, and is a man of exemplary life and conduct esteemed in the Monterey community, where he was born and reared. The bride, while a resident of the eastern side of the county, is not unknown here. She is an attractive young lady, and during the term of 1909-10 was a pupil of the Monterey High School. It was during this term of school that many of our people met her, and from which dates the acquaintance that terminated so happily on Wednesday. In the afternoon following the marriage, a reception was tendered the wedding party at the home of the groom's parents, near Monterey. These young people have the good wishes of the entire community.
