Kari L. (Johnson) Bevans, age 48 of Sartell, MN passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the Talahi Care Center in St Cloud, MN, following a courageous battle with Brain Cancer.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls with the Rev. Dick Smith, Rev. Nate Bjorge & Rev. Blaine McNiel, officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls. Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday and Monday from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at First Lutheran Church in Little Falls.

Kari Lynn Bevans was born December 24, 1958 in Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN to Lynden & Katherine "Kay" (Koop) Johnson. She grew up in Minneapolis until her Sophomore year in high school when her family moved to Little Falls. She attended and graduated from Little Falls High School with the Class of 1977. Following high school, Kari attended St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical College receiving a degree as a Dental Assistant. Kari worked in St. Cloud and most recently for Dr. Costley in Sartell, MN. She was united in marriage to Thomas Bevans on August 1987 in St. Cloud, MN. The couple later divorced. Kari's greatest joy was her loving children, T.J. & Courtney.

Kari is survived by the children she cherished so much, Thomas "T.J." Bevans of Sartell, MN, daughter, Courtney Bevans of Sartell, MN; parents, Lynden Johnson of Little Falls, MN & Katherine "Kay" (Koop) Johnson of Little Falls, MN; brother Kraig Johnson & wife, Elizabeth, of Springhill, FL; sisters, Kathy Wable & husband, Richard, of Prince Frederick, MD, Kelly Nagel & husband, Mark, of Little Falls, MN and Kirsten Sandman & husband, Todd, of Cumberland, WI.

Casketbearers are Jan Kaul, Susan Silvernale, Roxanne Wilson, Kim Coughlin, Kendall Johnson & Vint Johnson.
