Mrs. Henrietta Betts Agnew, wife of the late James Smith Agnew, died at her home, 461 Nehannock avenue, Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock.
She was 87 years of age, having been born in Huntington, Pa., December 13, 1832, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin Everett and Elizabeth Robison Betts.
Mrs. Agnew came to this city in 1849 and has made her home here since that time. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church of this city.
Surviving her are the following children: Miss Elizabeth Mayes Agnew and Benjamin Sterett Agnew, both at home.
Funeral services will be held at the residence, 461 Neshannook avenue, Thursday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock and interment will be made in Oak Park cemetery.
