Mrs. Geneva Louise McMillin, age 77, of 737 Linden Ave., died on Monday, July 26, at 5 a.m. in Community Hospital. Ill for a year, she has been seriously ill the last for months.
Born in London, Ohio on September 21, 1898, a daughter of Oatis and Eva Mae (Tarpening) Bettis, she lived in Springfield for 60 years. She was a member of Open Bible Church.
Survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edith Hohenstein in South Charleston, and Mrs. Mildred Rowland, with whom she lived; two sons, Chester McMillin in Georgesville, and Lester McMillin in Waverly, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services in Richards Memorial Home on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Georgesville.
