Beloved mother of Kerry Costello, Tracy Harrington (Steve), Pam Kumpel (Scott), Colette Christensen, and Michaela Popp (Michael); grandmother of Allie and Deirdre Harrington, Lauren and Hayley Kumpel, Sean Costello, and Chloe and Lillie Christensen. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim.
Irene was a longtime Shoreline resident and member of St. Mark's Parish. She owned and operated G&G Cigar Store in Seattle's Smith Tower from the time of Jim's death in 1980 until her retirement in 1994. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to marysplaceseattle.org.
