Mrs. Ben Bonnell died Sunday morning at her home southeast of Effingham.
Kate Best, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Best, was born on the Best farm south of Monrovia, September 6, 1863. She would have been 75 next Wednesday.
At the home of her parents, she was united in marriage with Ben Bonnell. She lived on the farm where she died for 52 years. She is survived by six daughters and one son, who are: Nellie of the home, Mrs. Grace Woodard, Nortonville; Mrs. Leah Glaspey, Cummings; Mrs. Katherine Schneider, Kansas City; Mrs. Ruth Andrews and Mrs. Melinda Calvert, Atchison; Claude Bonnell, Akron, Ohio. A daughter, Mrs. Edith Brown passed away June 1, 1933. Mr. Bonnell preceded them in death twelve years ago. Internment was made in the Effingham Cemetery beside the remains of Mr. Bonnell.
