Michael S. Best, a brother of our townsman, Lew. J. Best, died last Thursday evening, at his home, Oklahoma City, of pneumonia resulting from grippe. The remains were brought to Monrovia, Kansas, the old home of the Best family, last Saturday, and there interred. The deceased was the youngest brother, and was married on the 12th of last December, to Miss Ella Hill, of Indiana. He was 31 years of age at the time of his death. Had located in Oklahoma City as the resident partner of his brothers, in the lumber business. Lew's wife and his brother Aaron were present at the time of the death . . .

The funeral of M. S. Best, formerly of Atchison, who died on the 6th inst., in Oklahoma City, occurred from the residence of Capt. A. S Best, near Monrovia yesterday afternoon, Rev. Mr. Dornblaser officiating.

M. S. Best, brother of Capt. A. S. Best, Henry F. Best, of Kinsley, Lew J Best, of Beloit, and J. R. Best, of Valley Falls, died at Oklahoma City on the 6th inst. His death was the result of an attack of Pneumonia, which developed from a case of grip. He was thirty years old and married but eight weeks ago to a young lady from Indiana. He will be buried at Monrovia to-day, the Rev. Mr. Dornblaster, of Topeka, officiating. At the time of his death he was manager of the Arkansas Lumber Company. He was born in Monrovia and lived in that place for eighteen years.
The body of Michael Best, of Oklahoma, a brother of L. J. Best, of Beloit passed through Topeka last night, and will be buried to-day in Monrovia, Atchison county. The deceased is a cousin of Rev. T. F. Dornblasser, who will officiate at the funeral.
