Mrs. Agnes Bertels, of 22 Carey avenue, passed away yesterday morning after a prolonged illness.
Mrs. Bertels was a noble woman of lovely character and her genial nature won the love and respect of all who came within her influence. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and her devoted family.
She is survived by all of her children: Miss B. Isiabel Bertels, Mrs. J. M. Kuhns, Mrs. H. A. Smith, Mrs. Floyd Conner, Mrs. A. G. Schmidt, Arnold, Jay, Harry and Robert; also seventeen grandchildren and one great grandson.
The funeral will be held from the residence, 22 Carey avenue, Sunday at 3 p. m.
