PLEASANT VIEW - Edward Berrett, 78,
of 701 W. Pleasant View Drive, Died Friday morning at his home.
Mr. Berrett was born Jan, 7, 1891 in North Ogden, a son of Richard E. and Isabel Ford Berrett.
On Jan 7, 1914, he was married to Lettie Montgomery in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He had worked as a machinist for the Southern Pacific Co., retiring in 1959 and had also farmed.
He was a member of the pleasant View 2nd LDS Ward and Ben Lomond Stake High Priest Quorum. He served a mission in the Central States in 1911 and was formerly active in the YMMIA and Sunday School. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists.
Surviving are his widow, three sons, Howard M. Berrett, Phoenix, Ariz., Ralph E. Berrett Pleasant View; Robert A. Berrett, Spanish Fork; 15 grandchildren, two great - grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Leon F. Berrett, Glendale, Calif.; Lloyd Berrett, South Ogden; Floyd Berrett Granger; Mrs. May Hughes, South Gate, Calif.
Funeral services will be announced by the Myers Mortuary.
