Funeral services for Ashton Bernard, 67, will be held at 3:30 p.m. today (November 13, 1987) in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.

The Rev. Roy Edwards, co-pastor of St. Peter's Church, will conduct the services.

Mr. Bernard, a life long native and a resident of Carencro, died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Survivors include a step-son, Peter Burridge of Carencro, an aunt, Mrs. George (Gladys) Stutes of Lafayette.

He was employed by the City of Carencro as an elecrical inspecor for the past seven years and also, served in the U.S. Navy.

Visiting hours are from 9 a.m. today until time of serices. A rosary will be recited at 1 p.m. today.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro was in chage of arrangements.
