William "Bill" H. Bermann, 64, of Edgerton, passed away at his home with his loving family by his side, after losing his 3 year battle with cancer. He was son of Harold and Edna (Flebelkom) Bermann. He married Peggy Brummond of Eau Claire on November 18, 1978, in Eau Claire, WI. Bill was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Edgerton. Bill had a long work history in retail sales, which included owning and operating the Edgerton IGA Store for over 10 years, and then was the District Manager for the Voortman Cookie Company for over 15 years. He was the past mayor of Edgerton as well as a councilman, past member of the Edgerton Lions Club, volunteer fire department, optimist club and the JC's. He enjoyed boating, photography, woodworking, and riding his Harley. His happiest times were spent with his son Josh; Learning to scuba dive, becoming a Padi instructor, and coaching his Son into a professional diving career. They enjoyed diving anywhere from Devil's Lake to the Caribbean, their yearly trips to Bill's friend's ranch in Montana, and their jaunts to the family cabin. He is survived by his loving wife and other family. He was preceded in death by his only child, Joshua William. [Ehlert Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Edgerton]
