Mrs. Berlien was in the city Saturday, apparently in good health, and on Monday had done the family washing as usual. But not feeling very well Tuesday morning, she concluded she would lie a little later than usual and rest while her daughter prepared breakfast. Just as the breakfast was ready to sit down to, the family heard Mrs. Berlien fall in her room, and ran to her assistance. She had fallen upon her face and her death resulted in about thirty minutes.
The funeral will take place Thursday, at 2 p.m., from the church at South Scott.
