When her parents Emigrated from Sweden their destination was Minnesota but shortly thereafter they moved to Iowa where Albertina, her younger brother and sister were born. The family were still in Rock Rapids, Lyon, Iowa when 1900 Census were taken but shortly thereafter moved to Pillagar, Cass, Minnesota. In 1910 she moved to Remer to teach school. Albertina married Gustaf Bergstrom June 24 1911 in Pillager. She became the mother of one son and three daughters. March 15, 1960 she went Billings, Montana where her oldest daughter lived, to receive cancer treatment. She was a member of the Brainerd Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge. Her body was returned to Brainerd, Minnesota for funeral services.
