Funeral services for Andrew Berenz, 86, of 70 E. Merrill Ave., will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mount Calvary. He died at 10:45 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 1980, at his home. The Rev. Rupert Dorn will officiate, and burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. He was born Sept. 23. 1893, at Mount Calvary, the son of the late George and Mary Schmitt Berenz. He married Rose Haensgen in April of 1913 in Fond du Lac. Mr. Bernez was a former partner in Thurmer-Berenz Implement Co. at Mount Calvary and was a blacksmith. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Judson (Dorothy) Marsden of Rolling Hills Estates, Calif.; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and two brothers, Matthew of Mercer and Richard of Seminole, Fla. He was preceded in death by his wife in March of 1975, and by a son and brother.
