Mr. Berberick was meter repairman for the Gas Service Co. for 24 years before he retired in 1975. He was an Army veteran of World War II
He was a lifelong Topeka resident. Mr. Berberick was a member of the Church of the Assumption and a life member of Phillip Billard Post No. 1650 of VFW. He was a former member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 2608.
He was married to Katherine Marie Bauer on June 26, 1933 in Topeka. She died April 4, 1993.
Survivors include numerous nieces & nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mr. Berberick will lie in state after 2 p.m. today at Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
