Blake W. Beppler, 23, of Paxton, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2002 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, following a two-car accident near Paxton.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ford-Baier Funeral Home, Paxton with Rev. Harold Q. Bodeen officiating. Burial was in Linnwood Cemetery, Logan, Iowa.
Mr. Beppler was born Oct. 23, 1978 at Urbana, the son of Daniel W. and Claudia J. Yocom Beppler. He is survived by his parents of Paxton, one sister, Shelly J. Beppler, Naperville; paternal grandparents Bill and Rose Beppler, Paxton; maternal grandmother Elyzabethe J. Yocom, Paxton; and one uncle John H. Yocom of West Lynn, Ore.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Theodore Yocom.
Mr. Beppler graduated from PBL High School in 1997. He was in the Marine reserves. He was employed by the Incobrasa Soybean Plant, Gilman.
He was a member of First Methodist Church of Paxton, and the Brookhill Country Club, Rantoul. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and he and his life-long friend, Ben Ross, enjoyed hunting together.
Pallbearers were Ben Ross, Jeff Johnson, Brad Swan, Richard Kryzanski, Terry Boman and Ray Cline.
