Mrs. Martha Elvia Attaway, aged 83, pioneer Hunt County resident, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Steen, about four miles east of this city this morning following an illness of some duration.
Funeral services will be held at Campbell at 1 o'clock Saturday afternoon with burial following there.
Deceased was well known in the eastern part of the county. She was a devout Christian, held in high esteem by an extensive acquaintance.
The bereaved relatives have the sincere sympathy of their many friends in this hour of sadness.
