FORMER LEAD WOMAN PASSES.
Mrs. Betty Bentley Succumbs To Heart Attack In Buena Vista, Colorado.
Mrs. Betty Bentley, widow of the late William Bentley, succumbed to a heart attack in Buena Vista, Colo. early today, according to a message received by Lead relatives this forenoon. Mrs. Bentley had been making her home in Colorado since the death of her husband a few years ago and of late had been in rather poor health. The body will be shipped to Lead, leaving Buena Vista tomorrow, and funeral services will be held in this city with interment by the side of her husband in the municipal cemetery in South Lead.
The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Wilson of Miami, Fl; a son Roy Bentley of Lead; two grandchildren, Betty and Sidney Wilson, students at the University of Colorado at Boulder; three sisters, Mrs. M. McMann of Bruno, Minn.; Mrs. R.E. Childers of Vancouver, Wash. and Mrs. Jessie LeVeux, of Lead.
Mrs. Bentley was born in Wisconsin and lived in Lead for a number of years, during which time her husband was employed by the Homestake Mining company. She was a member of the local Presbyterian church.

Services Thursday For Late Mrs. Betty Bentley.
Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Betty Bentley, a former Lead resident, who succumbed to a sudden heart attack at her home in Buena Vista, Colo., early yesterday forenoon will be held from the Rounsevell funeral home tomorrow afternoon. Interment will be in the municipal cemetery in South Lead by the graveside of her husband, the late William Bentley.
A message from Mrs. Vera Wilson of Miami, Florida, to Lead relatives, states that she will be unable to come to Lead for the services. A son, Roy Bentley, and a sister, Mrs. Jessie LaVeaux, are the surviving relatives living in Lead.
