Thomas M. Bennett married Alice Hargraves 04 Aug 1888; Minnie Simmons on 04 Apr 1905.

Known children from the first marriage are Charles Mills, Wllliam Thomas, Addie Elizabeth (O'Berry) and Maggie M; second marriage are Argent Leigh (Mercer), Marvin Sylvester, James Thomas, Earlie David, Annie Belle (Spikes), Laura B. (Carter), and Elmer.

Thomas M. Bennett, 83, died at his residence in Millwood Friday afternoon.
He is survived by his wife, the Miss Minnie Sirmans, three sons, Willie T. Bennett, Elmer Bennett and Marvin Bennett all of Millwood; five daughters, Mrs. Charlie Sirmans, East Point, Mrs. Addie O’Berry, Manor, Mrs. Marvin Mercer, Millwood, Miss Annie Bennett and Miss Laura Bennett, both of Millwood; three brothers, Walter Bennett, Pearson, Lewis Bennett and Cicero Bennett, both of Waycross; four sisters, Mrs. Serena Murray, Pearson; Mrs. Lizzie Herrin, Mrs. Cleve Murray and Mrs. Mary Cook all of Millwood; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 3 o’clock at the graveside in Hargraves cemetery near Millwood.
Mincy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Final rites for Thomas M. Bennett, who died in Millwood Friday were held Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the graveside in Hargraves Cemetery with the Rev. Roy Gaskins of Nashville officiating.

Pallbearers were Elias Bennett, Monroe Bennett, LeRoy Bennett, George Bennett, Richard Bennett, and Aggie Bennett.

Mincy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
