Mary Lee Bennett, 92, of Ontario, CA passed away January 20, 2013 at home. She was born November 4, 1920 in Alix, AR and lived in Upland/Ontario for 74 years. Mary Lee came to Upland in 1942 and raised her 4 children with her Husband Earl Bennett, who preceded her in death in 1995. Her last 5 years, she was lovingly cared for by her granddaughter, Tami Smith. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ for 70 years. She is survived by her children - Brenda Joyce (John) McGovern and Wanda Carol (Paul) Hager all of Fresno, CA; James Earl Bennett of Friant, CA; Delores Ann (Kurt) Powell of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; 1 sister - Hazel Lane of Camino, CA; 10 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-8:00 pm Thursday, Januray 24, 2013 at Stone Funeral Home 355 E. 9th St., Upland, CA 91786. Funeral Service will be 10:30AM Friday January 25, 2013 at the Church of Christ 331 W. 9th St., Upland, CA 91786. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Park, Ontario, CA.
