David passed away on March 31, 2016 in Spokane, WA. He was born on April 9, 1922 in Colfax, WA to parents Eldon and Pauline Belyea. David joined the C.C.C. in 1939 and 1940 then enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1942 serving in WWII and the Korean War. He worked for the W.W.P.C. in 1947, retiring in 1982. He married Lorna Milan in 1953 and lived in Nine Mile Falls, WA since 1953. David was a member of Selkirk Ski Club, Gentleman on Horseback and Nine Mile Falls Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife Lorna; sons Jeff (Tamra), Jim (Tammy), Steve (Linda); grandchildren Nate (Kim), Jason (Nikki), Josh, Justin, David, Mitch (Brandon); great-grandchildren Mackinzi, Nate, Sam, Elliott, Kalista, Parker, Axel, Tatum, Knox and Juniper.
A Committal Service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:30 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park, 5200 W. Wellesley, Spokane, WA. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Spokane.
