STATESBORO -- Joseph Bellinger, 67, died May 6 at home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church and retired from ITT Grinnell and was employed with B&S Detail of Statesboro.

SURVIVORS: his mother, Cleo Bellinger of Statesboro; 24 children, Bishop Harry Bellinger, Floyd, Eugene, Sharon, Harry Joseph Jr., Larry, Regina, Daryll, Jacquelene, Toinett, Toronita, Henry, Mindra, Freddie, Melissa, Baby, Adrian, Amaris and Maurice Bellinger, Lynn Johnson, Sharon Morgan, Baby Mikell, Jamie Lovett and Kawana Melvin; five sisters, Catherine Dillard of Birmingham, Ala., Mary Alice Lee and Joan Green, both of Philadelphia, and Ann Bellinger and Julia Williams, both of Statesboro; five brothers, Floyd Bellinger of Philadelphia, William and Ulis Bellinger, both of New York City, Rastus Bellinger of Tacoma, Wash., and George Edward Bellinger of Washington; 18 grandchildren, 55 nieces and nephews and a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives.

VISITATION: 8:15-9:15 p.m. today at James R. Barnes Mortuary.

FUNERAL: 4 p.m. Saturday at Hodges Grove Baptist Church, burial in Mount Zion Church Cemetery.
