The Gadsden Times, Saturday, January 30, 1960: Mrs. Jeweline C. Ball, 28, South 11th Street, died yesterday at 9:35 in a local hospital after a brief illness. Services at Collier-Butler Funeral Home tomorrow 3:30 p.m. and burial in Crestwood Cemetery. Surviving is her husband, Paul C. Bell; two daughters, Kathy Gail and Sharon Sue; son, Paul C. Bell, Jr.; her mother, Lois Murley, Huntsville; her father, Grady Carpenter, Spruce Pine; three sisters, Mrs. W.L. Nesbitt, Birmingham; Mrs. E.D. Moore, Scottsboro; and Mrs. Fredietta Neely, Huntsville; great-grandmother, Mrs. Etta Odom, Spruce Pine. Mrs. Bell was a native of Phil Campbell and former resident of Belle Meade, N.J. She was a resident of Gadsden for the past year and member of the Baptist church.
