RITES WEDNSDAY FOR CHARLES BELL

NEWPORT, Wash., Oct. 2 (Special) - Funeral services for Charles F. Bell, 73, who died at the local hospital early Monday morning, will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Sherman & Davis chapel. Cremation will be in Spokane.

Mr. Bell was born in Milton, Iowa, and came to Newport in 1906. He had been in both the hardware and grocery business in Newport and for the last eight years had been justice of peace. He is a member of the Masonic lodge.

Surviving are his widow, Clara; a son, Richard, Seattle; three daughter, Mrs. Richard Kahl and Mrs. Everett Henderson, Spokane, and Mrs. Fred Hoefel, Santa Barbara, Calif.; two sisters and a brother in Iowa; a sister in Colorado, and three grandchildren.
