Helen L. BEIGH, 69, 36421 South 1300 West, Akron, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, following heart surgery.

She was born in Niles, Mich. to Oart and Alta BERGER YARIAN. On April 8, 1945 in Claypool, she married Leonard R. BEIGH, who survives. She had been a nurses aid at Woodlawn Hospital, and was a member of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, Akron; Fulton County Historical Society; and Rochester Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving with her husband are one daughter, Mrs. Rayond (Linda) WIDMAN, Rochester; four grandchildren; Rae Ann, Tamara, Raymond, and Thomas WIDMAN; one greatgranddaughter, Miraenda [WIDMAN]; one sister, Lula BUCKHEISTER, Akron; and one brother, Otis YARIAN, West Virginia .

Services will be at 10:30 a.m Wednesday at Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, Akron, with the Rev. Eve CAIN officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m Tuesday at Hartzler Funeral Home, Akron. An Eastern Star service will be at 8 p.m Tuesday at the funeral home.
