He was born July 10, 1943, the son of Barney and Tavie Begley.
He is survived by one daughter, Tonya Coomer-Reed of Madison; three sons, Larry Hollan and Tony Begley, both of Austin, and Jason Romero of Madison; one brother, Donald Cole of Indianapolis; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral was at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin. Burial was in Oak Cemetery in Austin.
