Mrs. Sibyl Elizabeth Sexton Beeson, age 91 of Crockett, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mrs. Beeson was born in Crockett on April 19, 1917 to W. J. and Leila Sexton and was a lifelong resident of Houston County. Mrs. Beeson was a member of the Central Baptist Church, Crockett. Mrs. Beeson was a homemaker and volunteer at Nursing Homes, Hospital and the State School for Girls. Mrs. Beeson also taught Sunday school, BTU and sang in the choir. Survivors include her children Barbara Fultz and Clifford Beeson, both of Crockett; brother Dennis Sexton and wife Jane, of Crockett; sister-in-law Lois Sexton, of Trinity; grandchildren Kevin Corbin and wife Pat, of Houston, Brett Corbin and wife Kathy, of Ohio, Diana Albrecht, of Houston, Dwight Fultz and wife Susan, of Hockley, Joel Beeson, of Crockett, Lethia Page, Steven Page, both of Lufkin and Chad Page and wife Jill, of Iowa; great-grandchildren Jason Corbin and wife Candace, Shawn Sprouse, both of Houston, Kyle Albrecht, of Austin, Dustin Albrecht, of Lockhart, Ashley Albrecht, of Houston, Brice Page, Brielle Page, both of Iowa, Michael Hardman, Lonnie Hardman, both of Utah, Raymond Hardman, Joey Kanester, both of Houston and Brandy Wend-land and husband Keith, of Houston; great-great-grandchildren Kaitlyn and Alyssa Corbin, of Houston, Emmalynn Albrecht, of Lockhart; numerous other relatives. Preceded in death by her husband Joe Beeson; and her daughter Charlotte Page. Funeral Services for Mrs. Sibyl Elizabeth Sexton Beeson were held Saturday, September 20, at 1:00 p.m. in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Charles Goodson and the Rev. John Goss officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Memorial Park.
