Mildred M. Milks dies in W.C.A. Hospital at 92
Mildred M. Milks, 92, of 7 Liberty Street, Randolph, died at 3:53 p.m. Friday, June 27, 1986 at W.C.A. Hospital, Jamestown. She was the widow of Leslie B. Milks, whom she married Nov. 27, 1912 and who died Feb. 18, 1965.
Mrs. Milks was born May 12, 1894, in Randolph, the daughter of William and Cornelia Lawrence Bers (sic).
She and her husband were sexton and custodian of the Randolph Cemetery for many years. She was a member of the Randolph United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Evelyn Mary Milks, who died Aug. 25, 1928; two brothers, Herman and Lawrence Bers (sic); and a sister, Evelyn Dow.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, at the Randolph Cemetery with the Rev. Harley Acker, retired pastor of the Stockton Community Church, officiating. Burial was in Randolph Cemetery.
Van Rensselaer and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
