Quentin Beemer, 92, of Creston died March 18, 2012, at Crest Haven Care Centre.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 22, at Pearson Family Funeral Service, 809 W. Montgomery St. Jeff Thayer, Tim Vaughan and Mindy Yule will officiate. Interment will be in Washington Cemetery in Gravity. Open visitation with family present will be 9 a.m. until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Quentin Beemer, son of Ferne Nellie (Coy) and Judson Beemer, was born Oct. 11, 1919, in Gravity.
Quentin grew up in the Gravity area and graduated in 1938 from Gravity High School.
On Oct. 15, 1939, Quentin married Lorene Wilson in Maryville, Mo.
Quentin is survived by his children, Gary (wife Judy) Beemer of Creston, Linda (husband John) Von Heeder of Texline, Texas, and Jerry (wife Lydia) Beemer of Queencreek, Ariz.; brother-in-law, Richard (wife Pauline) Wilson of Bedford; sister-in-law Rosie (husband Donald) Pfander of Corning; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; along with several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Quentin was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
