A native of Garrett County, she was a daughter of the late John and Ella (Hemmings) Garlitz and was the widow of Howard Beeman. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Rose Mary Britton, Mrs. Alice and Mrs. Lucille Thacker, all of Baltimore; seven sons, Russell, Seattle, Wash.; Alvin, Barton; and Harry, James, Howard, Franklin and Gilbert Beeman, all of Conneaut; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Cadwalader, Gilmore; Mrs. Nellie McKenzie and Mrs. Virgie McKenzie, both of RD, Frostburg; and Mrs. Ora Wiland, Garrett County; five brothers, Clayton Garlitz, Mt. Savage; Harry Garlitz, Kitzmiller; and Ralph, Charles and Edward Garlitz, all of Garrett County; 38 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Eichhorn Funeral Home where friends will he received today. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Garrett County. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
