Joseph Junior Beeman, 82, of Beeman Road, Barton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Frostburg. Born on May 4, 1930 in Lonaconing he was the son of the late Joseph Beeman and Edith (Phillips) Beeman-Wilson and step-father Quail Wilson.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Beeman, a grandson Jamie Beeman and three sisters, Dorthea Moffett, Evelyn Johnson and Anna-Mae Deitrich.
Joe was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Joe spent some time in Baltimore, MD working as a machinist/mechanic and when he returned to Barton he started his own business.
For 15 years he had his own band, the Beeman Demons Band and he enjoyed raising horses. He was an honorary member of the Barton Legion Post# 189 and a member of the Winter Haven Moose Lodge. He was Pentecostal by faith.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma Jean (McGee) Beeman; three sons, James Beeman and wife Alice of Barton, Joseph Beeman and wife Veva of Short Gap, WV and John Beeman and wife Kim of Barton; one daughter, Wilma Jean Crider and husband Scotty of Polk City, Florida; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Family and Friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home P.A. (www.eichhornmckenzie.com), Lonaconing on Sunday, January 13, 2013 from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM. A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 PM with the Rev. George Loar officiating. Interment will be held at Green Cemetery, Garrett County.
