Kevin Lee Beel, 50, of Kansas City, formerly of Independence, passed away December 25, 2015. Visitation will be 1:00 pm with Funeral services at 2:00pm Tuesday December 29th, 2015 at New Salem Funeral Home. The family suggests contributions to Special Neighbors, Inc., 3675 S. Kevin was born March 30, 1965 in Independence, the son of Donald and Joetta Beel. Kevin lived in the family residence until 1988 when he moved to White Oaks Care Center. Kevin loved listening to Tom Jones, dancing and going on car rides. While a resident at White Oaks, Kevin enjoyed activities such as the annual rodeos, riding horses and field trips. Kevin touched many lives. He is, and was, loved by many and will be missed.
Kevin is survived by his father Donald Beel of Hermitage, Mo; two sisters Phyllis Kelley of Independence, KS; Donna Mann and husband Gary Mann of Sugar Creek, Mo. Two brothers Gary Beel and wife Lisa Beel of Independence, MO; Greg Beel and wife Maricia Beel of Kansas City, Mo.; 8 nieces and nephews; 14 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joetta Altom Beel and brother-in-law Craig Kelley.
