Crystal lived most of her adult life in St. Helens and Scappoose. She worked at Fred Meyers for awhile before becoming an agent for American Family Insurance. She also served as an agent for several other insurance companies in the area. Crystal was a proud mom and liked to watch her, son Brock play school sports. She enjoyed gardening, playing Bunco with the girls, and swing the club in an occasional game of golf. Crystal also found the ocean soothing and loved going to the beach.
She is survived by Jim André and their son, Brock of Warren; brothers, Sam Beekman of Fairview, and James Beekman of Gresham; and sister, Mary Norton-Smith of Beaverton. Crystal was preceded in death by her brother Kenny Beekman on December 25, 1989.
