Barbara Beehler was born in Hessen-Darmstadt, Germany March 22, 1823. She came to this country and settled in Tennessee in 1848. She was married to Charles Beehler in 1850, and with him she moved to Fulton Co., Ind. where she died February 26, 1894, aged 70 years, 11 mo and 4 days.
She was the mother of three sons and four daughters. One son and two daughters preceded her to the spirit world, the remaining children with her companion are left to mourn their loss.
She was converted and united with the Evangelical Church, 28 years ago, and lived a consistent Christian life till death. She was afflicted for many years, and often expressed a desire to depart and be with Christ.
