Adelaide " Addie " L. Beecher, age 90, formerly of Sanborn, NY, passed away Saturday, September 1st, 2007 at Niagara Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Niagara Falls, NY after a long illness.

Mrs. Beecher was born in Niagara Falls, NY, on April 9, 1917, the daughter of Albert and Marie [ Hennessey ] Pike, she was a graduate of the East High School, in Rochester, NY, in the Class of 1935.

She was a former member of the Sanborn Rebekah Lodge, an Avon Representative, and the Sanborn Area Home Bureau and was a Den Mother for the Cub Scouts Pack # 39.

Addie enjoyed playing the organ, traveling and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Daniel M. Beecher, who died on December 30, 1995.

Surviving are three sons, Paul [ Margo ] Beecher, Henry [ Rena ] Beecher, both of Sanborn, Thomas [ Ruth ] Beecher, of Tucson, AZ, grandchildren, Paul T. Beecher, of Murfreesboro, TN, Christine Beecher, Amanda Beecher, both of Sanborn, Danielle Beecher- Peter, of Chaffe, NY, Nicole [ Jeff ] Becken, of Kure Beach, NC, Eric [ Jacquie ] Beecher, of Sanborn, Thomas Beecher, of North Tonawanda, Jeremy Beecher, of Myrtle Beach, SC, great grandchildren, Colleen York, Joshua Beecher, Terra Beecher, all of Sanborn, Jared Becken, of Kure Beach, NC, step grand children, Sean [ Shelia ] Kalota and Daniel [ Robin ] Kalota, both of Tucson, AZ, tow step great grandchildren Kristen and Hailey Kalota.

She was the sister of the late Albert, Henry Aida, Ethel and Frances. Pike.
