Alexander Beaver, an old gentleman who came here from Illinois about two years ago to live with his son, William Beaver, who lives five miles west of town, died at 6 p.m. on Sunday and was buried at Mt. Hope cemetery at 1 p.m. Monday. Funeral services were conducted at the residence by Rev. S.S. Estey. Mr. Beaver was 82 years old and had been in very poor health for several years.
