Hattie G. Miller Beaver, 93, a resident of Home Hospital Extended Care since 1990, died in Home Hospital at 11:05 AM Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995. Born June 7, 1902, in Alvin, IL, she was raised near Williamsport, and came to Lafayette in 1942. She married Harry C. Beaver on Dec. 29, 1928, in Covington; he died in 1984.
Mrs. Beaver graduated from Indiana State Teachers College, and was an elementary school teacher for 41 years prior to her retirement. She taught at Kramer Elementary in Warren County and Elston Elementary in Tippecanoe County. Surviving are a nephew, Harold T. Gebhart; and a niece, Ida Mae Kilby. She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Service Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, the Rev. Dr. Clayton Kendall officiating.
